NATIVA is among the first companies to certify under the new B Corp standards!

NATIVA is among the first nine companies in the world and one of only two in Italy to have obtained B Corp certification under B Lab’s new global standards—the most significant revision in the history of the B Corp movement.

The new standards, developed through a four-year international consultation process, introduce stricter requirements across seven key impact areas—from climate action to human rights—with the goal of further strengthening the role of businesses in helping to address major social and environmental challenges.

This achievement represents another step forward on a journey that began over ten years ago, leading NATIVA to become the first certified company in Italy in 2013 and to contribute to the emergence and spread of a European movement promoting an economic model capable of generating lasting value for people, communities, and the planet. Over the years, NATIVA has also guided more than 150 companies toward certification and is currently working with more than 50 companies specifically on B Lab’s new global standards.

This recognition comes at a time of strong growth for the B Corp movement in Italy. Today, there are 389 certified companies, employing over 41,000 people and generating revenue exceeding 23.5 billion euros. In 2025 alone, the number of Italian B Corps grew by 23%, confirming Italy’s status as one of the most dynamic countries in Europe.
