Ambassador of Change: NATIVA Campus’s Custom Lab for Opella Italia

The journey

For a company like Opella Italia, the mission to put health in people’s hands (Health. In your hands.) is not just a business goal, but a systemic responsibility.

To bring this vision to life, the company chose to collaborate with NATIVA Campus on a training program dedicated to its Ambassador Team: over 20 people called upon to become champions of change and of the values of B Corp and Benefit Corporation within the organization.

An awareness workshop: from climate to social well-being

The Custom Lab unfolded through two key sessions, designed to connect major global challenges to the company’s operational reality:

- Workshop 1: Climate Fresk – Understanding the urgency
Through Climate Fresk, a methodology based on collective intelligence and IPCC scientific data, the team explored the causal links of climate change. This was not merely an environmental analysis, but a profound reflection on the impact of the healthcare supply chain and the need to build more resilient operational models to protect human health and the planet. 

The meeting served as an opportunity to reinforce awareness of the commitments already implemented by the company—such as the reduction of Scope 1 and 2 emissions—and to reflect on how each individual can act to improve their organization’s impact.

- Workshop 2: The “S” Dimension and the Wellbeing Economy – Beyond Individual Wellbeing
In this session, the Ambassadors rediscovered wellbeing as a strategic and economic driver of long-term sustainability. Through the “double W” of wellbeing, the focus expanded from individual leadership to collective leadership—that is, an organization’s ability to actively contribute to a social and community ecosystem that generates shared value and wellbeing.

From theory to practice: the role of the Ambassadors

The experiential phase was at the heart of the program. Through role-play sessions based on real-life situations, the Ambassadors put themselves to the test by simulating everyday scenarios—from managing relationships with the network of pharmacists to building new marketing narratives.

The goal was to “train” new ways of communicating that integrate sustainability values into every decision, transforming theoretical concepts into practical tools to positively influence corporate culture.

This journey is not a destination, but a fundamental step in the evolution of Opella Italia: an investment in people that will continue throughout 2026 to ensure that every corporate action aligns with the goal of generating a positive impact on society and the environment.
