We have officially launched Impacto, the tool created to allow all Benefit Corporations (Società Benefit) to write their Impact Report in simplicity, autonomy and in compliance with legal requirements.

 

Simplify the process of writing the Impact Report, providing a comprehensive, systematic and intuitive tool that can meet all legal requirements at the same time.

This is the purpose of Impacto, the new online tool available for all Benefit Corporations (Società Benefit), i.e. companies that have chosen to evolve their legal form and to formalize new purposes of creation of shared value and positive impact on environment and society. 

One of the obligations deriving from being a Benefit Corporation (Società Benefit) is in fact the annual reporting of the actions taken to meet the commitments declared in the statute through the Impact Report, published together with the financial statements. Thanks to Impacto, we want to allow all the Benefit Corporations (Società Benefit) to create their own Benefit Report in an agile and customized way, monitoring all the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) associated to the common benefit purposes included in the Statute.

For this reason, Impacto allows to transcribe the actions and objectives for each of the common benefit purposes, to monitor them during the year and to keep the historical data of the company, then conveying them in the section dedicated to the drafting of the Impact Report, which is thus drawn up in an agile and autonomous way. 

The purpose of Impacto, however, goes beyond the perimeter and the functionality of the tool: 50% of the income  generated by the registrations to the platform will contribute to support projects that promote the spread of benefit models, such as #UnlockEducation, the education campaign on sustainability promoted by the Italian B Corps.

The Impact Report should not be considered only as a legal obligation, but as an opportunity to communicate one’s commitment to the whole ecosystem, thus increasing the degree of transparency towards stakeholders. Impacto wants to help all Sustainability Managers to maximize this positive impact.
